Taking pictures of sculptures is difficult, not enough light and you can't see detail, too much light and you get too much shine and lose some detail (from lack of shadows)  My new favorite thing has been to take the pics outside, lots of light and neat environs. Anyway, congrats on the mods choice. Nico Danell replies: "Actually there IS texture on the teeth, unfortunately the flash of my camera reflected too much off the white paint and the detail was lost. Maybe I'll try what you suggested and take some photos outside... Or buy a truecolour light and see if that helps!" | |

For hair you might want to look into mohair, it's pretty fuzzy but I've seen some really nice stuff made with it. I've made hair with embroidery thread too.
